This is a SND file which is a recording of me yelling no (for a multimedia presentation I was messing around with).  It isn't just me yelling, thugh.  I used Wavicle 1.0 by Lee Fyock (abalable here on America Online) to downsample the sound.  I then added an echo (also using Wavicle 1.0) and played the sound at 11kHz sampling rate (to make it sound like a tape being played back slow).  It sounds pretty cool.  May even be good for a system alert sound.
